Wisdom of Crowds

Does a crowd's guess land on the truth? Paste every guess people made for one jar, one ox, one question. The page finds the crowd's answer, the camps people split into, and how close everyone came.

In 1906 Francis Galton collected 787 guesses at the weight of an ox at a Plymouth fair. The middle guess was 1,207 lb. The ox weighed 1,198 lb.

Any separator works: commas, spaces, new lines. "1,200" reads as twelve hundred. Keep them in the order they were collected to see how the crowd converged.

Have photos of guess slips? Get the numbers transcribed into a list first, then paste it here.
